The Edgewater Resort and Spa is thrilled to be partnering with internationally recognised food consultant John Palino. Edgewater Resort General Manager, Chris McGeown said “John has been a tremendous source of knowledge and inspiration to us. We want to make sure that our guests have the best possible dining experience while staying at the resort. We have two restaurants and both establishments have been subject to John’s careful creative eye and experience”.
The immediate focus is on the Resort’s Italian styled restaurant Spaghetti House. Along with a makeover of the décor, the menu is being redesigned and staff are undergoing two weeks of intense training on cooking and customer service.
Food and Beverage Manager Roland Neururer says “we are aiming for a family style value for money dining experience that will appeal to many visitors from our key markets of NZ and Australia”. Neururer is confident that locals will also find the new menu options to their liking.
McGeown said that it was important that we keep the Spaghetti House identity as this restaurant has been part of the resort for many years. Subtle changes to the look and feel of the restaurant and the branding are part of the revitalisation of the restaurant.
The new look and feel of Spaghetti House will be launched at an invite only function on 23 May 2011.
